About Anna

‘Hi! I’m Anna, a children’s book Art Director and Designer. I love making books. My passion is for picture books. I love working closely with authors and illustrators, putting their words and illustrations together to tell a visually exciting story, bursting with page turners and emotion. I also like coming up with ideas for new novelty formats. Whether it’s art directing new characters or creating fun layouts, my passion is to bring everything together into a beautiful book or gift package for children to enjoy and treasure.’

‘In my spare time I like to draw all sorts of characters, especially bears, and try out different styles and art techniques. I’m currently working on my children’s illustration portfolio.’

Anna studied illustration, fine art, photography and graphic design, graduating with BA(Hons) in Illustration, at the University of Arts London in 2006. After graduating, she began her career as a designer in children’s book publishing, designing across a wide variety of publishing lists, formats and age groups.
